A total of 2,337 graduates, who withstood years of turmoil and uncertainty, received their well-earned degrees during the 101st commencement exercises on the Beirut and Byblos campuses.

The university’s entrepreneurship hub, LAU Engine, introduced its new flagship program LAUNCH, a 16-week high-intensity course that prepares candidates for growth, investment, and international scaling.

A team of engineering students took first place in the Lebanese Solar Energy Society’s Engineering Students Final Year Project Renewable Energy Contest for their end-to-end solar-powered electric bus network.

The 10th graduating cohort of the Fashion Design Program unveiled their creations on the runway during the Annual Fashion Show on the Byblos campus, in the presence of the First Lady Mrs. Nehmat Aoun and Mr. Elie Saab.

Dr. Andrée Affeich, associate professor of practice in translation, and linguist Dr. Rima Baraké co-authored the Arabic chapter for an international volume tracing the evolution of terminology across languages and cultures.

While 68 future physicians made their transition to clinical years at the White Coat Ceremony, graduates, residents, and fellows of the school of medicine were recognized for their outstanding professionalism and compassion.

Nursing graduates took their oath to practice their profession with integrity, empathy, and excellence during their annual Recognition and Pinning Ceremony on the Byblos campus. 

The Human Resources Department recognized the university’s longest-serving staff and bid farewell to this year’s retirees in two uplifting ceremonies on the Beirut and Byblos campuses.
